Witness accounts collected afterward described silver or disc like objects and small humanoid figures with unusually large dark eyes, though not every child at the school reported seeing the event. Local UFO researcher Cynthia Hind interviewed children and collected drawings, while Harvard psychiatrist John Mack later traveled to Zimbabwe and conducted additional interviews with witnesses. Some children later described frightening thoughts or impressions concerning environmental destruction, but details such as telepathic communication became more prominent in later interviews and remain debated. More than three decades later, the Ariel School incident remains a famous unresolved UFO story, with compelling witness testimony but no publicly verified physical evidence proving an extraterrestrial encounter.
